About Us

I was raised in "The" Bronx, a borough of New York City.  The fashion industry is not new to me since most of my childhood experiences included shopping with my mother and aunts.  Lots of shopping...I had the greatest selection of shoes too.  My mother's family was in the shoe industry, first in Italy then America.  Although I never met my grandparents, I learned from stories told by my mother and aunts that their father had a talent for playing the violin.  He also worked as a tailor to help support 11 children.  As repeatedly told to me, he designed and made all of their clothes from beautifully designed and good quality fabrics.  They were proud, and I am proud to have been so lucky to be born into a great family.
